You mean a Weed Extractor? Yes it was - one from the Wolf range of Garden Tools that makes gardening so much easier for a little more outlay of the pennies. Anyway my front garden is now de-dandelioned - it took 2 hours and I filled up half a bin with dandelions - there was loads of the buggers.

I can't believe how well co-ordinated you guys are! Just do what I do, walk around and stand there if you have to and then after half and hour start yawning. Everybody yawns when they see somebody yawn. Fifteen minutes later complain that you're tired and she will agree with you .... problem solved you go back or she speeds up. Much easier.

Seriously though, respect to you both for going shopping, especially the Trafford Centre - can't stand the place at the best of times.
Nah- I never get tired when shopping !!! Apparantly I 'zone out' though - so probably wouldn't even notice the yawning !!!

That is true when Lizzie is in the 'Zone' she will totally ignore attempts at conversation and then just disapear to try things on. It is very weird.

I thought "zoning" was something men did more (like my Dad watching the sport on TV), but there's obviously a female equivalent. At least I now know why Mike was wanting the company. The Trafford Centre was surprisingly ok, not too many people around, although four hours in it is quite enough for me.

It would appear that this is something that women have developed, nay, evolved. It is a highly effective skill. I would go more to the Trafford Centre but they just do not have big comfy chairs to sit in when the women go off and shop. If they had them, I'd be a lot poorer and Rowenna would be a lot happier. Lets hope they don't read this and order some.

I believe that four hours shopping is too much for any man to do. We should not be allowed to do it. It should be in the constitution.

I am very late posting. Sorry. We went to the Sci Fi film festival in London, and did the MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000) all-nighter on Saturday. It was VERY VERY cool and we didn't fall asleep!

honestly, some people should be locked away on a spaceship and forced to watch ancient sci-fi pulp films as punishment

Nah - I think they should be forced to appear on 'Space Cadets' so they can be ridiculed by the viewing public !!
