D&D Fever
D&D Fever
i'm really enjoying the current adventure in the dessert of desolation and have finally found a character i enjoy playing even if it is a struggle sometimes when competing with two other theives in the same party, but as often happens when i feel we're getting into the home straight i'm beginning to get new character fever! so i think its time we started to think what to do next when the dust settles on the current campaign; are we going to continue with the same gang in a different setting, change DM or...well, what?
i like the latest batch of characters and would deffinately like to use mort again, but equally i like the building process for fresh personel and if this is going to be needed i think it would be a good idea getting the process moving with a decent amount of build up so nothing is rushed. what's the general consensus?

I am really still trying to get to grips with Sir John. I think I would really like to go back to my Bardic roots, however, I keep playing the same character which is disturbing. I am of two minds on this. There is nothing to stop some characters being new and others being the same though. . . .is there?

Down with the DM! Viva la revolution! But really:
I'd quite like to stick with the same character, as I'm determined to actually try to roleplay Simon frigging properly at least once in his life. And MU's are kind of cool.

that's the least of your worries - what mort decides to do next could leave your bride to be as a widow. the dm really has to get his arse in gear about this, because your characters' futures and mine could well decide whether they are in the next adventure or not.

I have thought that I would like to return to my Magic Using roots. I think that fighters are all well and good in an actual scrap but we are useless for most other tasks.
I have thought that a great one to play would be a lawful evil Mage. I have thought lawful so that the character is likely to respect and acknowledge the need for a cohesive group that works towards the same goals. I have a Raistlin type of character in mind I must admit but not one with gold skin and really disturbing eyes.

Hope everyone can be there...

the latest [and you can take that in either sense] update at the dragonsfoot journal is in and i'm hoping to get another one done for next week. hopefully if the current rush continues for long enough i could pile on the updates and close the gap between the actual games and the contemorary write ups. well, it's a nice thought at least
