My Dad got this film for his birthday last Monday.
A French film with English subtitles with Jean Reno and Christian Clavier in the leads as a 12th Century Count and his manservant who find themselves transported to the 20th Century to change the past.
For Monty Python and Blackadder fans this film is absolutely hilarious, the subtitles do not make it difficult to follow and actually add to the humour.
I saw this film over the weekend and would rate it
The main actor is the gent from Leon, Jean Reno, and has other actors like Christian Clavier. The pretext is as above and I thought that the charmingly innocent choas they cause is totally fantastic. It is the really seamless humour in the Countesses house that got me laughing out loud. I am really looking forward to seeing it again with Lizzie. :D
We've just watched it and it certainlt kept me entertained for its entirety, although it only really made me laugh a couple of times. It was a sort of reverse-concept of "A Conneticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court" and there's nothing wrong in that.
