Firefox 2.0

I am really impressed with this new search engine. It has an inbuilt spell checker which works on the forums. I was amazed by that really. A great step forward though I am not sure if it uses an American or English dictionary.

Just thought I would let you know it had landed! :D

It is rather spiffy isn't it? I also like the 'Recently Closed Tabs' function within the 'History' menu. This is mainly cos I have a habit of shutting down the whole browser, not just the individual tab that I don't want anymore!

As far as the language thing goes, if you right-click your mouse when in a text field, you'll see a 'Languages' option. This shows which dictionaries you have installed and a link to install others.

Just type in ''George W. Bush likes colourful pictures in the nightsky''

if it comes back with ''Our leader likes colorful pictures in the nightsky'' then it is American.
if it comes back with ''The crazy yanky wanker likes colourful bombing'' then it is English.

Simple really.

Have you all downloaded the excellent StumbleUpon addon for Firefox 2.0? I would recommend it heartily, I have found a great number of cool sites using the program.

It works by you adding a set of categories of interests to your profile. The computer then works out what websites you might light and randomly generates one. You mark the site Good or Bad and the computer then matches your likes with others to show interesting websites available.

The website for the program is here. Much fun to be had by all. I will post some of the interesting sites on the site so you can see for yourselves the gold mine of stuff out there. 8)
