Dirty Dancing 2

Post by Lizzie »

This film is pretty much what you'd expect and follows the same formula as the first film (but without being as good).

The acting was a bit naff, the plot didn't live it up to the first film and the ending was dissappointing.

Having said this - the latin american dancing was ace, and it was watchable. It could have been alot worse.

I would objectively rate this film
1S

Probably due to the fact I practically fell asleep but did not quite!

I watched this film when on the plane back from LA baby, yeah!

I too was a little disappointed by the film but as I was knackered and didn't watch with massive expectation it whiled away quite amiably 2 hours of the flight. I liked the dancing, and the lead actor (don't know his name) was suitably steamy on the dance floor and for that I would give it (perhaps a little generously)

I'm posting here purely to complete my "following Chrissie around the forums" evening I appear to be having. I'm sure the film is lovely too, although averaging out at two stars isn't entirely reassuring...

I agree the first one is the better film, but I must say that I would love to dance like that, Should we start dancing lessons?...... or will It cripple someone's back? 8)
