Anna Nicole Smith

Post by Mike »

Has died at the tender age of 39. Only the good die young (so it is said) thought I don't know if she falls into this category. Her family has had rather a touch time over the last few years and it seems a shame for her to have died.

On a side note she was probably one of the most 'deformed' (or enhanced) person to ever use a plastic surgeon. She looks almost circus like with those rediculous implants.

a strange outpouring of sadness for someone who was often the butt of jokes in life. it is an oddly sad story but i can't figure out why or for who i am feeling that for. a shame anyway

I wish I'd had feelings.

My apologies for the above. It's always strange when someone dies so young, and she lost her son a few years ago as well, but as Andy points out, it's difficult to feel much for someone you only knew as an abstract figure through the media.

You sort of feel sorry for all people who die so young. I just think it is a bit of a sad story that is all. . . .

Well, she packed quite a bit into her time, anyways. Her drunken antics brought joy and gossip to millions. I assume they have no cause for the death yet?

No but on ABC news or E Hollywood true stories (don't know just generic American newsreaders) they were postulating some conspiracy as
Newsreader Specialist wrote:Two young people do not just die of unknown causes in the same family within a year of each other without some potential outside influence
I really wish I could put the 'specialist' to the test and check their credentials making those sort of sweeping statements.

It does conveniently ignore the fact that it may be something genetic which has caused it, what with them being related and all. Which is also part of the reason that double cot death mother was aquitted on appeal.

Bit of a twist as today it was announced that the father of the baby was the unknown one. What really made me grimace was his ''hey, i don't have to work again face because i'm in charge of a shit load of money...... and a kid... but lots of money'' face.

it's been a real ugly business watching this unfold and nothing seems to be changing for anyone connected to it for the future

He did seem rather smug. . . but the kid does not have the $500 million yet it will take a few more years of legal battles to resolve this one. I would hate to be the lawyer in charge of that one.

are you kidding? the court wrangle about this will take so long to sort out most of that money will be owed to the lawyer for legal fees. i know they said greed was good in the eigthies, but this is just perverse.
