The Welsh got beat pretty convincingly by all accounts. Not a great surprise though.

Was a pity that the England match was such a whitewash in favour of the Irish. Still at least we had a laugh in the pub! :)

Robinson and Lund may be available for the Six Nations against France. It could be needed since Robinson has exactly half of the competitions try's for England. . .

Good news. Are the French at full strength for this match?

I thought that Strettle did well for his first cap. His pace is going to be an asset. However, his decision-making is nowhere near as good as Robinsons.

MIKE CATT!!!!!!!!

Why? He's good but he's not quick enough anymore in my opinion.

2 questions arise from this match

1) Should we play either Geraghty or Flood if Wilkinson isn't available?
2) Will someone please hit Jeremy Guscott for me?

I admit I was proved wrong regarding Catt for the try and the majority of the second half, however, in the first half, for me, he looked out of his depth.

I was impressed again by Strettle.

Overall, a good performance and one which shows that the Ireland match could have been a blip. Still not convinced but then again, I was appalled with the lack of movement from the French attack. They looked utterly clueless which is promising from our point of view.

I was impressed with the performance against France. I was surprised that the game went the way it did. I will be looking forward to the last match of the championship next week. We had some very good plays and some were inspirational! Go Flood is what I say though the pundits were going for some one else. I don't remember what the name was but he apparently is used to playing in combination with a second england player.

A solid England performance against a lack-lustre French side. There were definitely some signs of improvement, not least in the fact that our coach looked animated for the first time since taking over!

The pundits seemed to favour Geraghty over everyone (seemingly including Johnny). I'll happily go along with whoever Ashton chooses, just as long as they help us beat the Welsh by more than 30 clear points so that we win the Six Nations...

No Wilkinson, Vickery or Tindall for the Wales match. Looks like Catt for captain again.

Ireland lost out only slightly in the end. They had a couple of key moments where they could have taken the crown. A couple of key penalties and conversions were all that was in it.

France better watch out for Ireland in the World Cup. . . .
