The Lady Killers

This is the original with Alec Guiness. Very well acted though slightly odd in places. The tale revolves around a set of cadlike bounders (robbers) and they include a little old lady in their plot to rob a bank. The Lady obviously finds out and a tale of mayhem ensues as they try to decide who bumps her off.

All in all

Worth it but only as passing entertainment.

when has there ever been a usa remake of a british film that was better than the original? the director of the hollywood italian job should be blow up - doors and all!
