The BBC are reporting on self powering nano wires being located in the clothing for future people to power small devices which would be pretty amazing! I want it to be a colour changing top or display stuff, or give directions. It could be really cool!

Looks like it may be a while until it generates a "meaningful amount" of electricity. Don't forget the potential implications for powering medical devices, as well as looking cool. Colour changing tops would be great:
"Do you think this clashes with my jeans?"
"Hmm, yeah."
Top changes colour. "Better?"
"Dude, sweet!"
