15 minutes anyone?

Post by Claire »

What's your claim to fame? Brush with a celebrity? Spotted anyone famous in Mancunia? (Anything Heat can do, we can do better!)
Firstly - i'm sure this won't be bettered - i once saw Dev Alahan (Jimi Harkishin?) in the Sainsbury's cafe on Regent Road, Salford.
Secondly - and talking of Heat magazine - i am the Senior Designer for the publication, don't you know!!!
Now, Lizzie, don't you go making something up about Robbie!

Another corrie theame:

Once served Girl from corrie (with baby, young - cant for the life of me remember her name) in Jessops. She had a cadbury's phone cover and I asked where she got that from, she replied "oh they just gave it to me". Needless to say I did not have a clue who she was until I was told afterwards that she was Sarah Loo. . . .Yes I did remember the name half way through the post.

Also I meet the Master from Doctor Who in the 80's. Don't remember meeting him but I do have the pictures to prove it.

I have been in two different pubs where Christopher Eccleston was having a drink. He was in the Egerton Arms watching football and getting pissed and was also (on another occasion) in Mr Thomas's Chophouse quietly sipping his way through a bottle of red wine while reading the newspaper. I've also been in a pub with Paul McGrath (ex Man United and Ireland footballer). I think he'd been in Court that day and was just relaxing afterwards. I also bumped into Alan Hansen in St Anne's Square whilst I was very drunk, but still ended up getting his autograph.

Hello everyone,

I once served Gary Neville in Bents when I was a student and Man Utd were good ..... ha ha ha ha ha!
Anyway, I had to put a 7.5 ft Xmas tree into his car. I had to recline his front passenger seat whilst he looked on making sure I didn't scratch the leather.

Be honest, did you nick his thrown away crisp packet that was lying around his car? Did you scratch the paintwork on his lovely car? If not then you must be a Man United supporter?

Corrie is not f**cking rubbish Fez - there's a few million people who'd say that's a better description of your opinion on the matter. Please, no F-words on my dicussion topic, unless you've seen Gordon Ramsay somewhere and it's integral to your anecdote.

mark twain:

if you ever find yourself agreeing with the majority, it's time to pause and reflect on where you went wrong.

just because millions watch cori doesn't mean they have any taste
