This is a very odd little film. The story revolved around a woman called Anna. Her first husband has died suddenly and this is a tale of his reincarnation. When a ten year old boy suddenly appears at her engagement party Anna becomes convinced that he is her first husband. We discover a lot about Anna's marriage and it is a very touching film.
Nicole Kidman is reafirmed again in my eyes as a fantastic actress. There is a long scene where all you see is her face and she manages to show so much thought and tortured emotion that it is truely fascinating. I would recommend this film if only for this scene!
My one critism is that I was disapointed by the ending. Despite this I would rank it with
