Hiya

Watched this film recently. All three epic hours of it. I was amazed that they managed to eek it out that much. I liked the casting of Jack Black and Adrian Brodie. The film was a little too long in NY to start with but I think overall an average film.

I will give it

because I was bored at one point!

I agree, this film would have been so much better if it was an hour shorter !! Three hours about a gorilla is too much for me !!

I kind of got the feeling that Peter Jackson felt he had to out-do LoTR, which justifies that length of film.

All in all- it was reasonably entertaining and the special effects were v good.

I am not a particular fan of this movie, i thought the cgi and special effects were good but i agree with you both, it took ages to get going.
