This is a tale of a woman in 1950's who 'helped' out young women who 'got themselves in trouble'. It tracks the lives of poor women and draws comparison with the life of a young and privileged life abortion. There are a couple of interesting thoughts about abortion and help! I did feel sorry for the young gal who was raped on a date. . . .
