The story centres on a prim and proper Miss Dove a primary school teacher in a typical New England town. She falls ill and starts a series of flash backs over her life as she lies ill in hospital. The story starts in her youth as a happy go luck young lady. Unfortunately her father dies rather quickly and certain 'banking' irregularities come to light. To prevent a scandal she undertakes to repay her fathers 'debt'.
It is a very interesting film and I would rate
A tear jerker to be sure but a good one, the ladies will love it.
