I never believe these reports, one week it's drink beer then it's don't drink beer but drink red wine. The next week it's don't drink red wine, drink beer after all.

Therefore I shall continue with my bacon habit...if it kills me, it kills me! :)

the news is disastrous because if my other half sees it then she'll comment on each and every slice I put of the delicious stuff into my mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

coca-cola and pepsi were introduced as health drinks, tea is supposed to prolong life while at the same time caffine can be a killer, chocolate is now classed as a 'super-food' despite the fact high consumption can lead to diabetes. how many bacon butties does it take to be a killer, does it effect lungs in conjuction with obesity or is it a seperate problem, is a ham sandwich bacon butty light? who really puts any credence in this contradictory rubbish anymore?

The pigs are obviously clever enough to flood their bodies with nitrates in revenge for being slaughtered. Cunning little blighters.

I'm eating more beef mince these days, and I dread to think what the scientists say about that. Having said that, boiled ham > most other meat.

considering the reason most of us resort to bacon butties, isn't it surprising none of us are deciding to cut down on our alcohol consumption - surely the beer is going to kill us before the bacon does.

Bacon Butties damage lungs!

What doesn't? Everything is bad for you - the media just sensationalises such topics as soon as they get a whiff of some new research/result.

I have no idea why but that phrase conjures images of a bacon butty in boxing gloves standing beside a very bruised lung ;) .........and if you believed that......you get the idea.
